Savoring a bowlful of an indeterminate latakia blend I threw together probably eight-to-ten years ago and have had jarred since then. I occasionally open it up to share with a friend or to put it in my own pipe, but only occasionally. Too good and way too precious to quickly burn my way through. The instrument of the evening is a Castello "G 'Sea Rock'" tan canadian.
Earlier today I enjoyed the same mixture in a straight Radice "Rind" chubby billiard. Hey wait, maybe I do have to watch myself more closely so as to better pace myself when having some of this blend!

Had some McClelland's 5110 (Riegel's "Baker Street" mixture) in a straight Dunhill Group Five Shell Briar dublin earlier in the afternoon. As it nears midnight now I'm reaching for a straight Radice Rind sandblasted billiard filled with a Rattray's "Red Rapparee" / latakia added blend containing several other latakia-based blends mixed in for good measure.
